Patricia "Patsy" Vernice (Steedley) Cook

Mrs. Patricia “Patsy” Vernice (Steedley) Cook, age 62, of Villa Rica passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018. Mrs. Cook was born in Savannah on Wednesday, June 1, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Vernie Steedley, Sr. and the late Joyce (Davis) Steedley. Besides her parents, Mrs. Cook is preceded in death by her sister Jan Steedley.

Survivors include her husband, David Cook of Villa Rica; her two sons, David Cook, Jr. and Nathan Cook, both of Villa Rica; her two daughers and one son-in-law, Amelia and Jason Thompson of Temple and Madalyn Nicole Cook of Villa Rica; five brothers, Dennis Steedley, Morris Steedley, Vernie Steedley, Charlie Steedley, and Paul Steedley; her sister Ann Baugher; three grandchildren, Patricia Elizabeth Thompson of Temple, Dalton Lee Thompson of Temple, Patience Gracie Cook of Villa Rica and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Mrs. Cook’s wishes, she will be cremated.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
