Rickey Adiron Woods, Sr.

Mr. Rickey Adiron Woods, Sr., age 69, of Temple passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020. He was born in Atlanta on Saturday, March 11, 1950. Mr. Woods was the son of the late, James Frank Woods and the late, Jacqueline (Duette) Woods. Besides his parents, Mr. Woods is preceded in death by his wife, Dora (Freeman) Woods; his son, Rickey Woods, Jr., one brother, Travis Woods and his sister, Charlotte Jackson.

Survivors include his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harlan and Sandra Woods of Villa Rica and Gary and Carla Woods of Virginia; four grandchildren and their spouses, Megan and Jefferson Michel of Douglasville, Melody Woods of Austell, Madison Woods of Austell and Star Clark of Bowdon; three great-grandchildren, Bella Michel, Meredith Brewer, Gary Brewer and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Mr. Woods’ wishes, he will be cremated.

The family plans to hold a memorial service, honoring the lives of both Rickey and Dora Woods. The date, time and location of the service will be published as soon as arrangements have been finalized.
