Theresa Rose (Leonard) Castonguay

Mrs. Theresa Rose (Leonard) Castonguay, age 56, of Temple passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018. She was born in Silver Spring, Maryland on Tuesday, November 21, 1961. Mrs. Castonguay was the daughter of the late Francis Michael Leonard and the late Dorothy Louise (Dillon) Leonard. Besides her parents, Mrs. Castonguay is preceded in death by her husband, Barry Alan Castonguay; one brother, Joseph Leonard and one sister, Mary Celine Leonard.

Survivors include her two daughters and one son-in-law, Danielle Castonguay of Long Island, New York and Nicole and Bobby Hall of Temple; three brothers and one sister-in-law, John and Constance Leonard of Drumore, Pennsylvania, Michael Leonard of Marianna, Florida and Patrick Leonard of Kinston, North Carolina; one sister, Catherine Jenson of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Bobby “Duke” Hall and Cheyenne Hall both of Temple and a number of other relatives.

Mrs. Castonguay served in the United States Navy and was a member of New Georgia Baptist Church with Dr. W. Keith Stell serving as Pastor. She enjoyed crocheting, being involved in various church activities and spending time with her friends and family.

In accordance with Mrs. Castonguay’s wishes, she will be cremated.

Memorial services will be conducted on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 6 P.M. from New Georgia Baptist Church with Pastor Dr. James Burdette and Pastor Walter Malskis officiating.

Military Honors and flag presentation will be conducted by the United States Navy Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 5P.M. until 6P.M.
