Obituary

Mr. Willie Ivan Baggett, age 76, of Temple passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023. He was born in Columbus, Georgia on December, 10, 1946. Mr. Baggett was the son of the late, Dennis Baggett and the late, Doris (Hofford) Rebie. In addition to his parents Mr. Baggett was preceded in death by his daughter, Brandy Oldham.

Mr. Baggett was a talented Mechanic and also worked as a Truck Driver and Heavy Equipment Operator at different times in his life. Above all, Mr. Baggett was most proud of the work he did with the Kids In Motion Program where disabled children received needed therapy through riding horses.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah (Willis) Baggett of Temple; his grandchildren, Alana Oldham and Aryiel Oldham; his great-grandchild Arianna McCoy and a number of other relatives; Mr. Baggett is also survived by his pet dog and best friend, Buster.

In accordance with Mr. Baggett’s wishes, he will be cremated.
