Mr. Hugh Webster Taylor, age 76, of Franklin passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016. He was born in Chambers County, Alabama on Thursday, September 21, 1939. Mr. Taylor was the son of the late Jasper James Taylor and the late Mary Armenda (Brittain) Taylor. Besides his parents, Mr. Taylor is also preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur Taylor, Benjamin Taylor, and Joel Taylor; and two sisters, Jannell Blanks and Annie Ruth Knight.

Survivors include three sisters, Mary Edwards, Martha Pollard, and Florence Thornton all of Carrollton; numerous nieces and nephews and a number of other relatives.

Mr. Hugh Taylor served his Country in the United States Army.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 6P.M. to 9P.M.

Following the Visitation Mr. Taylor will be cremated.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 11A.M. from Glenloch Baptist Church in Franklin with Reverend Neil Awbrey officiating.

Immediately following the Memorial Service, Mr. Taylor’s cremated remains will be interred in the Glenloch Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors presented at the graveside.
