Dwayne Batchelor

Mr. Stephen Dwayne Batchelor, age 40, of Muscadine, Alabama passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017. He was born in Carrollton on Monday, December 6, 1976. Mr. Batchelor was the son of the late Stanley Batchelor and the late Susan Ann Watkins. 

Survivors include his wife Beth Peyton Batchelor of Muscadine, Alabama; two sons, Jacob Peyton of Muscadine, Alabama and Logan Pitman of Cedartown; three daughters, Lori Anderson of Ranburne, Alabama, Kaylee Cape of Ranburne, Alabama and Lindsey Batchelor of Alexander City, Alabama; one grandson, Colton Anderson of Ranburne, Alabama; one brother and one sister-in-law, Shane and Natalie Batchelor of DeKalb, Illinois; one step brother and step sister-in-law, Jody and Shannon Singleton of Villa Rica; one adopted brother, Robert Norton of Mount Zion; his grandmother, Faye Bishop Watkins of Carrollton; aunts and uncles, Harold and Denise Watkins of Smyrna, Danny and Renee Watkins of Clem, Charlotte Watkins of Centre, Alabama and Russell and Cheryl Batchelor of Bowdon; his stepfather, Peanut Morris of Bowdon; two adopted nephews, Joey and Blake Norton of Mount Zion as well as a number of other relatives. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 7P.M. (Georgia Time) from the Croft Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Adam Downs and Reverend Jeff Shelton officiating. The family requests that those who plan to attend the service to dress casually.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 4P.M. (Georgia Time) until the funeral hour.

In accordance with Mr. Batchelor’s wishes, his body will be cremated following the funeral service.
